Current Needs

We rely on individual volunteers and donors to keep our doors open. In addition to giving towards ongoing program, food, and administrative costs, you may help meet some of the special needs listed below.

    Donate Goods-In-Kind
         • Men's new socks and new underwear
         • Men's shorts, t-shirts and jeans
         • Personal Care Items: deodorant, shampoo, razors and bars of soap
         • Food Pantry items: fresh produce, non-perishables, coffee and tea
         • Toiletries: shampoo, bars of soap, tooth paste, tooth brushes, deodorant
          

    NOTE: You may drop items off anytime at 90 Lafayette.  Please do not bring household appliances or furniture, as we don't have space for them.  Email House Manager

    Volunteer
         ·  Tutor residents towards earning their GED (math, reading and writing)
         · 
    Tutor residents in ESL (English as a Second Language)
         · 
    Process mail to help lower administrative costs
        
    ·  Serve meals in the dining room

    Spread the Word
         ·  Speak about the work of NYCRM at your church or local community organization
         ·  Partner with us in prayer
         · 
    Invite homeless, poor and/or substance-abusing individuals to the Mission for help
