Medical ServicesA group of volunteer medical and social services providers serves the needs of our guests each Wednesday afternoon. This team includes a social worker, nurse practitioner and others.
These professionals provide vital services such as assisting with housing, prescribing and providing medication, applying for Medicaid, and making proper referrals.
Additionally, a biweekly medical clinic operates voluntarily at New York City Rescue Mission on Friday evenings. The clinic ministers to residents by providing basic medical services.
