	Paolo's Testimony I lived life my way, but nothing was too extraordinary. I worked and went to movies or to other places “just to have a good time,” as people say. But something was wrong, something was missing. I was not quite sure what it was. Some way, I always had a relationship with God, but the truth of the matter was that I did not have God in my life.
	Milton's Testimony My name is Milton Perkins. I came to New York City Rescue Mission in September 2003. I had lost my job, house, car -- and my respectability. I was heavily in debt. Through the resident program at the Mission, I discovered the love and patience of God. I thought I knew God but I had never felt a need to know Him personally. There was nothing to lose and everything to gain. It was here that I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior.
	Bob's Testimony Before I came to Christ I was addicted to drugs and alcohol. I only thought of myself. I had to have what I wanted at any cost. I didn’t care who I hurt. My outlook on God was very poor. On July 18, 2003, I hit rock bottom. I lost everything. My supervisor said, “You must get help or don’t come back.” So I went to my sister. Even she said that in my condition she couldn’t help. I was “HOMELESS.” I will never forget those words. So I gave in. Between my sister, my boss and my pastor I came to the New York Rescue Mission. I was lost, confused and alone.
