Residential Recovery Program

The recovery program places a high priority on education. When a resident decides to participate, his needs are assessed and a learning plan is tailor made for him.

In the Career & Learning Center, we offer a variety of courses for program participants: General Life Skills; Remedial Reading; Writing Skills; Workplace Skills; Financial Planning; and a Spiritual Lecture Series. In addition, both staff and volunteer instructors assist residents with resume writing, interviewing, and telephone skills training. GED classes and computer training are also offered.

Residents spend a minimum of 10 hours per week on education. Throughout each course, quizzes are given to test skills development. Certificates are granted to those who pass each individual course.
